For a little pampering (or a lot), guests can check
out luxurious Barceló U Spa’s 17 treatment rooms
including rooms for couples and outdoor treatment
areas. Massages are available on the beach and in the
spa. Other treatments and services include body and
facial treatments, body wraps, body scrubs,
aromatherapy and hydrotherapy. The spa is equipped
with hot springs/mineral springs, a mud bath, a
sauna, a spa tub, Turkish bath/hammam and a fitness
center with spinning and aerobics area. Minimum
age to access the spa is 16.
After the sun sets, it’s time to enjoy the vibrant
nightlife at Strikers Sports Bar & Bowling Center,
Bavaro Nightclub (ages 18+ — open 11 p.m. to 3
a.m.) or The Xone Teen’s Nightclub (9 pm to 1 am).
Resort guests can also take in a live show and
entertainment at the 1,400-seat Gran Teatro Bavaro
Theater. For Vegas-style fun, head over to Casino
Bávaro, a trendy casino that’s guaranteed to thrill
your senses. Over 150 slot machines are available
including the latest games on the market, as well as
Blackjack tables, American Roulette, Caribbean
Poker and Texas Hold ‘em Poker.
The resort also features Meeting/banquet facilities;
a business center with fax and photocopying services;
concierge services; a 24-hour front desk; reception
services; currency exchange; an ATM/cash machine;
safety deposit boxes; and a heliport. A chapel offers
Catholic mass on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Beautifully landscaped, the resort’s lush tropical
grounds are easy to get around by foot or guests can
take a free train ride to their destination on the
resort’s Bávaro Express. Trains leave every 20 minutes
between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

The all-inclusive program at Barceló Bávaro Palace
includes breakfast, lunch and dinner with 11
restaurants in the complex to enjoy. In addition to
several buffet restaurants, specialty restaurant
offerings include Santa Fe Steak House, Mexico
Lindo, La Dolce Vita (Italian), La Comedie (French),
La Fuente (Spanish), Kyoto (Japanese) and Coral
(seafood). A poolside restaurant, Miramar Buffet,
specializes in international cuisine and serves
breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Barceló Bávaro Palace is three miles from Dolphin
Island, Manati Park Bávaro, Palma Real Shopping
Village, San Juan Shopping Center and
12 miles to Punta Cana International Airport.
