A sanctuary amid the wild and tropical splendor of
Dominica— the Nature Island in the Caribbean— the
Rosalie Bay Resort is an eco-boutique and wellness
retreat located on the southeast coast of Dominica,
just 45 minutes from the capital city of Roseau.
Built by hand over the course of nine years,
Rosalie Bay Resort is a dream and labor of love for
owner Bev and her partner Oscar. Here they created
an exciting eco resort to share the beauty of the nature
isle with visitors, empower the local residents and
protect the environment.
Featuring spacious accommodations, healthy cuisine,
a nature-inspired spa, a wellness program and diverse
amenities, Rosalie Bay Resort offers a vacation that is
simply magical. Rosalie Bay has also been leading the sea
turtle conservation efforts on the island for the last nine
years. From March through October each year, guests
can witness green, leatherback and hawksbill sea turtles
nest and hatch on the resort’s beautiful black sand
beach. Since sea turtles are most likely to nest at night,
the resort offers a Turtle Wake-Up Call for interested
guests to see this unique wildlife experience.
Tucked within the resort’s lush landscape are
nine cottages housing 28 rooms and suites. Attention
to detail is seen throughout each air-conditioned
accommodation: hand-carved four-poster beds and
armoires; colorful original local artwork; luxurious
bathrooms with granite countertops, vessel sinks and
rain showers; and many more superb amenities.
Daily rates include a healthful Continental
breakfast featuring fresh-squeezed juices, organic and
local fruit, oatmeal, whole wheat toast with locally
made marmalade, power drinks, smoothies and herbal
teas. A full cook-to-order breakfast is also available.
