About the Position

We are looking for corporate travel representatives to join our remote workforce. Agents handle incoming calls from clients looking to book all trip components (air, car, hotel, and rail) in accordance with corporate policy to best meet customer travel objectives. Candidates must be able to handle reservations via phone and queues. Candidates must have the ability to problem solve and follow client policies and procedures. Strong international or ticketing experience a plus.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience working in a corporate travel environment
  • Proficiency on at least one GDS (Sabre, Apollo, Travelport +, Worldspan or Amadeus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Availability for weekend and holiday shifts
  • High-speed Internet access and a quiet work area at home as well as own computer and headset (specs available)
  • Self-starter capable of working independently
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with flexibility and ease
  • Aptitude for providing superior, personalized customer service to a diverse clientele

Overview

The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for the growth, retention, and engagement of our top-performing agencies in a designated region as well as the expansion of the designated region. The BA is responsible for educating existing agencies about TRAVELSAVERS programs, products, and services and is required to analyze the agencies' business and recommend applicable programs for better utilization and revenue opportunities. In tandem with the growth and retention of existing accounts, the BA will spend approximately 30% of their time on new business acquisition (sales) and will serve as a TRAVELSAVERS ambassador to prospective affiliates, showcasing our proprietary products and services that enable our travel agencies to gain a competitive edge in the market place.

Responsibilities (For Existing Accounts)

Business Consultation

· Analyze agencies' business model to maximize engagement and recommend utilization of TS programs, products, and services

· Assess the agency’s business and consult on growth opportunities: airline program (when applicable), cruise and tour directional selling and ancillary programs

· Consult with agency Owners regarding training and networking opportunities and provide those training’s as requested by Owners

· Provide superior customer service to all agencies in assigned region to foster continual growth within TRAVELSAVERS

· Analyze the agency’s business model and consult with Owner on sensitive topics such as :

1. Opportunities for growth based on Owner’s expectations, goals and objectives

2. Business expansion/diversification and or acquisition

3. Compensation models, motivating employees, working with Independent Contractors

4. Benchmarking discussion as it relates comparatively to other agencies of the same size and business model

Responsibilities (For Prospective Accounts)

  • Build relationships with agencies that share TRAVELSAVERS’ dedication to success through expert support, proprietary lead-generating technology, networking opportunities, supplier partnerships, and award-winning marketing
  • Own the entire sales process including analyzing targets, identifying prospects, cultivating connections, articulating benefits, and finalizing new affiliations
  • Create a strategy to build a robust sales pipeline and execute a plan to form new partnerships
  • Generate fresh leads and referrals proactively by forging a network of industry connections
  • Articulate the value proposition TRAVELSAVERS offers and motivate agencies to take action
  • Partner with internal contacts on initiatives to build awareness of TRAVELSAVERS’ advantages in the marketplace

Marketing

· Consult with agencies to implement TRAVELSAVERS marketing programs and tools

· Assist HQ marketing team with internal initiatives that need special attention from the network

· Assist agencies with yearly marketing and business plans

· Provide HQ feedback on suppliers, offers and other ad hoc projects as needed

Financial

· Analyze agency back-office data to seek revenue opportunities and increase preferred supplier market share

Technology

· BA must stay abreast of cutting-edge technology and all TRAVELSAVERS proprietary technology

· BA will be responsible for training agencies on multiple TRAVELSAVERS technology platforms

  • Partner with internal contacts on initiatives to build awareness of TRAVELSAVERS’ advantages in the marketplace

About You

· College degree or a minimum of 5 years experience in sales with a track record of success developing relationships and closing agreements

· 5+ years of travel agency management experience, including operations, marketing, P&L, and technology

· Excellent knowledge of software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, and Zoom. Sugar CRM is a plus.

· Ability to conduct or lead meetings and training sessions with superior presentation and facilitation skills.

· Communicates clearly, confidently and persuasively
