Travelsavers Highlights Advising as LinkedIn’s Top 5 Jobs on the Rise
Travel advising jobs have risen to number five on LinkedIn’s “Jobs on the Rise 2025,” and Travelsavers is leveraging that ranking to encourage more Canadians to join the industry.
According to LinkedIn, travel advising offers job security, the potential for six-figure earnings, and the ability to work remotely. What’s not to like?
Travelsavers says the reasons to join are a growing interest in personalized travel experiences and the increasing reliance on expert guidance, making the role of a travel advisor more lucrative than ever.
According to Statista, Canada's travel and tourism industry is projected to grow to $16.92 billion by 2028. In a recent survey of advisors affiliated with Travelsavers Canada, 81% anticipate revenue growth in 2025, while 91% foresee sustained or increased consumer demand for their expertise.
"As the travel industry continues to thrive, there has never been a better time to become an advisor,” said Jane Clementino, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Travelsavers Canada.
"Recruiting is a top priority now, and we also need to provide proper training to ensure the gems that we hire are fulfilled and successful. Our clientele must always experience excellent client service, and they will when dealing with our well-trained Travelsavers Canada advisors."
In a previous Travelsavers survey, the majority of travel advisors (96%) said training is essential.
"However, there is a mix of approaches in how to train, demonstrating a need for a more consolidated process as part of the overall onboarding, coaching and education experience," the company said in a release.
