TRAVELSAVERS Canada Showcases Professional Development Leadership with New Offerings in 2026
Education Initiatives Will Boost Advisor Success by Sharpening Their Competitive Edge
TORONTO (October 21, 2025): To ensure that affiliated advisors stay ahead of the curve with their knowledge and expertise, leading travel network TRAVELSAVERS Canada is offering a wide-ranging schedule of professional development opportunities for 2026.
Through private trips, in-person events, and online trainings, the network is providing affiliated agencies with the skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving industry.
“Ongoing education is at the core of advisor success, and it’s something we’re deeply committed to,” said Jane Clementino, Senior Vice President and General Manager of TRAVELSAVERS Canada. “Our professional development programs are designed to empower advisors to sharpen their skills, embrace new tools, and increase efficiency. By strengthening the value proposition an advisor delivers, we’re helping them build stronger businesses, deepen client relationships, and achieve even greater heights of profitability.”
Leadership in Professional Development
TRAVELSAVERS Canada recently appointed Elizabeth Grundon as Director of Professional Development, a new role created to expand the network’s focus on professional development and application.
Grundon brings 23 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst with TRAVELSAVERS Canada, and her appointment reflects the organization’s commitment to helping advisors leverage existing tools and programs to grow their business. Her relationship management skills, consultative capabilities, and training prowess have strengthened results for numerous agencies.
“Our programs are designed to support advisors at every stage of their journey,” said Grundon. “My focus is on strengthening and streamlining the training we already offer, so agencies and advisors can easily adopt and leverage these resources. By providing consistent, flexible, and targeted learning opportunities, we’re equipping our agencies to stay ahead of industry changes, drive business growth, and deliver exceptional client experiences.”
Training and Networking Events
Exclusive events offer advisors motivation from high-level speakers, sessions on trending topics, insights on network initiatives, fresh information from trade shows, and abundant networking. The Affluent Traveler Collection Symposium will occur Sept. 22-24, followed by Travel Market Sept. 24-27. Both will take place at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa.
In-Person Connections
TRAVELSAVERS Canada offers a series of education and networking events across Canada. Dine & Discover evenings help advisors discover the latest product updates, exclusive offers, and useful trends from top partners. Each event features a meal for more connection-building, then a fun, dynamic activity to help cement their new knowledge and connections.
Since their debut in Canada, Dine & Discover events have quickly gained popularity. In response to growing demand, TRAVELSAVERS Canada has expanded the program, particularly within the Greater Toronto Area. Looking ahead to 2026, Dine & Discover events are set to take place in Vancouver, Montreal, Quebec City, and two locations in the GTA, with events scheduled for both spring and fall.
KORE Education Enrichment
The KORE program – launched in Canada in 2024 to train the next generation of professional travel advisors – is undergoing a major refresh. The new curriculum will add multimedia content, enhance interaction through exercises and gamification, and work seamlessly with mobile devices. Agencies will be able to create customized KORE versions for their advisors.
KORE empowers new consultants with the essential skills and real-world knowledge to be successful travel professionals and business owners. It provides learners with a thorough, self-paced online curriculum containing expert real-world insights. KORE is the sole advisor education program that offers mentoring with an agency owner or manager, as well as career referrals to elevate candidates with leading agencies.
Professional Growth
Our program of in-destination educational trips, called Experiences, immerses advisors in the history and culture of a place, giving them the firsthand knowledge to sell the locale more effectively.
2026 will feature a robust schedule of monthly Tuesday Trainings & Tips, a supplier webinar series. As a new incentive, attendees will have a chance to win a $100 gift card compliments of each partner. These sessions hosted by hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and OnLocation DMC partners help advisors increase their share of preferred supplier sales while increasing the profitability of their business.
“Our goal is to enable advisors to operate more efficiently and effectively,” says Grundon. “By helping them benefit from the tools and programs we provide from SoftVoyage to our consumer cruise platform, we make it easier to drive bookings and attract new clients. Our Business Analysts and Directors of Business Development are ensuring advisors have the guidance and support they need to grow their business, deepen traveller engagement, and thrive in a competitive marketplace.”
Advisors can access videos outlining how they can benefit from network programs such as AI Connect for marketing content, tripXpress for planning and booking travel, and OnlineXpress for a professional consumer agency website.
Supplier webinars and instructional videos are recorded and added to a comprehensive training library available on demand in the TRAVELSAVERS Canada advisor portal.
The team of dedicated Business Analysts and Directors of Business Development also provides hands-on personalized training for all programs, tools and services.
