TRAVELSAVERS AND NEST SHOWCASE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEADERSHIP WITH NEW OFFERINGS IN 2026
OYSTER BAY, NY (October 21, 2025): To ensure that affiliated advisors stay ahead of the curve with their knowledge and expertise, leading travel networks TRAVELSAVERS and NEST are offering a wide-ranging schedule of professional development opportunities for 2026.
Through in-person events, online trainings and private trips, the networks are providing affiliated agencies with the skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving industry. As the number of advisors in the networks continues to grow, so do their opportunities to develop new abilities and refine existing ones.
“The best advisors know they need constant education to stay on top of their game, so leading the way in training is a priority for us,” said Kathryn Mazza-Burney, TRAVELSAVERS Chief Sales Officer and NEST President. “Our professional development initiatives help advisors use the benefits of their affiliation with us to the fullest. With this training, they will refine business strategies, drive further efficiencies, optimize commissions, and ultimately become even more profitable.”
Training and Networking Events
Exclusive events offer advisors motivation from high-level speakers, sessions on trending topics, insights on network initiatives, fresh information from trade shows, and abundant networking. The Affluent Traveler Collection Symposium will occur Sept. 22-24, followed by Travel Market Sept. 24-27. Both will take place at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa in Texas.
New for 2026, NEST Owners Focus Retreat provides an opportunity for top agency owners and preferred partners to take their business to a new level while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. Attendees delve into issues and developments during interactive programs with inspiring speakers. They strengthen ties through insightful conversations during formal sessions and informal bonding during leisure activities.
NEST Stars Retreat will help elevate on-the-rise agencies to top-tier status by providing best practices, networking and motivation. The retreat debuted successfully in 2025 and will happen again in 2026.
During the Elite Retreat reward trip, top-producing affiliates will experience in-demand destinations and strengthen key supplier relationships while celebrating their sales success.
In-Person Connections
TRAVELSAVERS and NEST offer two series of education and networking events in cities all over the US and Canada. Both Dine & Discover evenings and Lunch & Learn gatherings help advisors discover the latest product updates, exclusive offers, and useful trends from top partners. Each event features a meal for more relationship-building, then a fun, dynamic activity to help solidify advisors’ new knowledge and connections.
In 2026, Dine & Discovers are scheduled for Tampa, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Quebec City. A Lunch & Learn will take place in Durham, NC.
KORE Education Enrichment
The KORE program – launched in 2021 to train the next generation of professional travel advisors – is undergoing a major refresh. The new curriculum will add multimedia content, enhance interaction through exercises and gamification, and work seamlessly with mobile devices. Agencies will be able to create customized KORE versions for their advisors.
KORE empowers new consultants with the essential skills and real-world knowledge to be successful travel professionals and business owners. It provides learners with a thorough, self-paced online curriculum containing expert real-world insights. KORE is the sole advisor education program that offers mentoring with an agency owner or manager, as well as career referrals to elevate candidates with leading agencies.
Professional Growth
A program of in-destination educational trips, called Experiences, immerses advisors in the history and culture of a place, giving them the firsthand knowledge to sell the locale more effectively.
2026 will feature a robust schedule of monthly Tuesday Trainings & Tips, a supplier webinar series. As a new incentive, attendees will have a chance to win a $100 gift card compliments of each partner. These sessions hosted by hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and OnLocation DMC partners help advisors increase their share of preferred supplier sales while growing the profitability of their business.
Advisors can access videos outlining how they can benefit from network programs such as AI Connect for marketing content, tripXpress for planning and booking travel, and travel tix for airline sales.
Supplier webinars and instructional videos are recorded and added to a comprehensive training library available on demand in the TRAVELSAVERS and NEST advisor portals.
The team of dedicated Business Analysts and other on-staff experts also provides hands-on personalized training for all programs, tools and services.
