Humble Market Kitchin is open for breakfast and dinner, offering
inspired delights of Hawaiian, Asian and American-style options. In
the evenings, the restaurant’s Wai Bar transforms into Wailea’s most
sought-after setting for sunset cocktails and late night gatherings.
Three private dining rooms, seating up to 44 guests, are suited to
host small gatherings, celebrations or corporate dining.
In addition to HUMBLE MARKET KITCHIN, Wailea Beach Resort
— Marriott, Maui features a variety of culinary concepts, including
the poolside KAPA Bar & Grill; Whale’s Tale Juice Bar; NALU Pool
Bar; Mo Bettah Food Truck; romantic private cabana dining;
Starbucks; and an authentic Hawaiian luau four nights a week at the
ocean’s edge.
As a part of the resort’s $100 million
transformation, HUMBLE MARKET KITCHIN
by celebrated chef Roy Yamaguchi recently
opened as the property’s signature dining
venue. The casually sophisticated dining
experience features an internationally influenced
menu inspired by Japanese, Filipino, Chinese
and Hawaiian cultures.
Perched on one of the highest points at the
resort, the restaurant draws influence from the
resort’s reimagined identity and coveted
shoreline location. Its open layout features
indoor/outdoor seating, breathtaking views of
the Pacific, and textures, surfaces and colors
that reflect the surrounding mountains and
ocean, creating a strong sense of place.
Credited as the pioneer of the Hawaii
Regional Cuisine movement, Yamaguchi owes
his deep connection toMaui to his grandfather.
Having grown up in Japan, the James Beard
award-winner spent childhood summers in
Wailuku, Maui at his grandfather’s general
store. During those formative years, Yamaguchi
gained an appreciation for Hawaii’s fresh
ingredients and multicultural flavors. The
