Hyatt Offers a Healthy Dose of Wellbeing to Global Travelers
Hyatt’s commitment to care has been at the heart of their business for some time now, but the brand continues to grow its leadership position in the wellbeing space with the addition of several innovative collaborations and initiatives.
The recently introduced Wellbeing Collective includes a collection of hotels and resorts across Hyatt’s portfolio of brands that provide unique wellbeing offerings to all guests, including groups of all sizes and meeting attendees. Leisure travelers and group customers can book experiences that align with their personal wellbeing journeys. The goal is that guests will open their bodies and minds to restorative experiences and participate in adventures to explore and reconnect with nature.
For example, if your journey includes learning a new skill, Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa offers guided instruction on the proper technique to lasso a steer, all while absorbing the natural beauty of the Texan Wilderness.
Additionally, the Hyatt Regency brand just debuted their collaboration with the personal training platform, Future, that connects users with a fitness coach who will create complimentary virtual workouts customized to each guest and tailored to match each hotel and resort’s fitness center and equipment. The workouts are designed for all fitness levels and activity preferences. Think, for example, of a “Bridge City Circuit Session” at Hyatt Regency Portland. Guests access the guided workouts by downloading the Future personal training app and scanning the QR code in their guestroom or at the hotel’s fitness center. Currently, the Future program is available at 26 participating U.S. Hyatt Regency hotels and resorts but is scheduled to expand to more destinations later this year.
In another “first-of-its-kind,” Hyatt’s loyalty program, World of Hyatt, is teaming up with Peloton to outfit 800+ Hyatt properties with Peloton equipment and access to their classes so guests can join a class or take a ride to their favorite music in the hotel’s fitness center. Also under the planned program, guests at nearly 400 participating hotels will be able to enjoy a curated set of non-equipment-based Peloton classes—from stretch routines to bodyweight workouts—on in-room TVs. But the real game-changer in the works will be a Hyatt and Peloton integration where World of Hyatt members will be able to earn reward points for qualifying Peloton Bike or Peloton Row workouts completed at a participating Hyatt hotel.
While wellbeing efforts tend to focus on physical and mental health, Hyatt believes personal growth is equally important to their guests’ journeys. And so, in the first-ever hospitality collaboration, Hyatt will offer access to the MasterClass streaming platform at 350+ properties worldwide. The exclusive relationship gives Hyatt guests a way to learn and grow through curated content across a variety of subjects including health and wellness, arts and entertainment, business, culinary and more.
Hyatt booking data shows travelers are placing greater emphasis on health and wellbeing amenities when planning travel, so all these programs are designed to set their hotels and their guests up for continued success.
