Restoring U.S – Korea Network with MSP-ICN Relaunch

Restoring U.S – Korea Network with MSP-ICN Relaunch
Delta will resume nonstop service between two of their global hubs – Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and Seoul-Incheon International Airport (ICN) – effective October 2, 2022.
Flights will initially operate three times per week before increasing to daily service on October 29. The daily MSP-ICN service will fully restore our Korea flying to 2019 pre-pandemic levels.
The MSP-ICN resumption joins our recent July 12 relaunch of daily Seoul service to Seattle, while existing service from Atlanta and Detroit will increase to daily on Aug. 2. Our joint venture partner, Korean Air, has announced its restored long-haul flight operations in July to a series of gateways in the U.S. and Asia, including JFK, IAD, BOS, DFW, SEA, LAS, HNL, BKK, HAN, SIN, NRT, HND, HKG and more. Full restoration of our Korean network is a positive indicator of what’s to come for the rest of the Asia region, allowing business and leisure travel to resume between the two regions. Learn more about the relaunch of our MSP-ICN service, which will operate on our flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft, and the experience your travelers can expect when traveling on this route.

Seattle Airport Looks Forward to Welcoming Air Tahiti Nui on the New Papeete-Seattle Route
The first route between Papeete and Seattle begins this fall. In a press release, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) expressed its enthusiasm about the launch of a new non-stop service to Papeete, Tahiti (PPT) operated by Air Tahiti Nui starting October 5, 2022.
Tahiti will be Seattle’s southernmost destination, and the first located in the Southern Hemisphere. Air Tahiti Nui will operate the twice-weekly route using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
International Service at SEA
Travelers arriving at SEA from Tahiti will enjoy the soon-to-open new International Arrivals Facility, the most complex capital development project in the history of SEA airport. The IAF will dramatically improve connection time, efficiency, and service to millions of annual international travelers.
Air Tahiti Nui’s Tahiti service is the sixth new international service to SEA announced since 2020. Qatar-Doha, WestJet-Calgary, and Alaska-Belize City began service in 2021, while Air Canada-Montreal and Finnair-Helsinki will begin service in summer 2022.
